    Delhi’s daily Covid tally continues to surge with 325 new cases

    Delhi’s daily Covid-19 tally continued to surge on Thursday after 352 fresh cases were recorded in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 18,67,206, according to the health department’s bulletin. Thursday’s case count is 26 more than that of Wednesday’s when 299 infections were seen. 

    However, this the second consecutive day that no fatalities were recorded and the toll remain unchanged at 26,158.

AIIMS to start dedicated clinic for advanced Parkinson’s from Saturday

Doctors said that this clinic will be a referral clinic, which will primarily have patients from AIIMS’ movement disorder clinic, but patients referred from other hospitals can also seek advanced care at the new clinic.

4 terrorists killed in encounter in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian

On receiving information about the presence of terrorists at Badigam in Shopian’s Zainapora area, the security forces had launched a cordon-and-search operation, a police official said.

The minister’s statements come two days after Santosh Patil, a right-wing leader and a contractor was found dead in an Udupi hotel, blaming the minister for his decision to take his own life.

CBI makes sixth arrest in Birbhum massacre; suspect bought petrol used in arson

A CBI team stationed at Rampurhat has taken into its possession several security camera recordings, including the one showing Bhadu Sheikh being murdered. A diary, containing the names and phone numbers of many people, was also recovered from an underground chamber at Bhadu Sheikh’s residence.

Eye on hosting 2036 Olympics, Gujarat plans mega sports complex
